Day 1: Marrakech → Atlas Mountains → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley
Your 5-day desert tour from marrakech starts after breakfast. Your driver will pick you up and head toward the Atlas Mountains. The first stop is Ait Ben Haddou a famous old Berber village where many movies were filmed (like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia). Next you’ll visit Ouarzazate known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you can see the film studios and Taourirt Kasbah.
Finally you’ll drive through the beautiful Dades Valley enjoy the scenery of old kasbahs and spend the night at a hotel.
Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
