Morocco Itinerary 3 days from fes to marrakech
Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
On the first day of your 3 days morocco tour from fes to marrakech, After breakfast we will pick you up from your hotel in Fes. Our first stop is Ifrane a charming mountain town often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its clean streets and unique European style architecture. You’ll have time to see the famous lion statue and take some photos.
Next we drive through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains where you might spot wild monkeys. We continue to Midelt known as the “Apple City”, where we will stop for lunch.
In the afternoon we head towards the desert. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Ziz Valley filled with palm trees, as we cross the Atlas Mountains. We’ll pass through Erfoud famous for its fossils and dates, before arriving in the desert town of Merzouga.
From here you will ride a camel into the Sahara Desert to your luxury Berber camp. After settling in, you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, followed by Berber music, drumming and stargazing around the campfire. You’ll spend the night in a comfortable tent under the stars.
Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
On the secand day of your 3 days desert tour from fes to marrakech. Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes a truly unforgettable experience. Afterward ride the camels back to Merzouga, where you can shower and have breakfast at the hotel.
We then travel towards the Dades Valley, passing through Rissani a traditional market town and Erfoud once again. The highlight of the day is a visit to the impressive Todra Gorge where you can walk between towering 300-meter cliffs and enjoy lunch nearby.
Later in the afternoon we continue to Boumalne Dades where you’ll spend the night in a comfortable hotel or guesthouse.
Day 3: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
On the last day of your 3 days tour from fes to marrakech. After breakfast we begin our journey to Marrakech. traveling through the Skoura Oasis and the scenic High Atlas Mountains.
Our first major stop is in Ouarzazate known as “Morocco’s Hollywood” where many famous movies have been filmed. We then visit the legendary Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks.
After exploring the kasbah, we continue our drive across the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass, enjoying stunning views and photo stops along the way. We will arrive in Marrakech in the evening where your tour ends.
